Mark's areas of concentration include leading company operations, change management, improving processes, and managing, mentoring and providing advanced training of personnel, while overseeing JSG's core areas of military sciences, intelligence, information technology, engineering, project management, security and clearance space, operations, talent acquisition, compliance and human resources.

Before joining JSG, Mark served as Director of Intelligence and Senior Recruiter, Facility Security Officer, and Senior PM for an information technology and intelligence solutions company supporting the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community, law enforcement agencies, and various USG and SLED agencies. Prior to industry work, Mark served in the U.S. Army for over two decades in conventional and unconventional roles, advancing from junior enlisted to the highest senior enlisted rank, retiring as a Sergeant Major and Command Sergeant Major Select. He holds multiple DoD and industry certifications, graduated from Excelsior University in New York, and served as the Senior Military Science and Tactical Labs Instructor at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
